It's kind of funny. I woke up from a nap this evening and I had like five messages in my inbox like CHECK MARVEL'S TWITTER FEED.

And then I was like :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD for like twenty minutes. No lie. Tiny Cap is so earnest and won't back down and!!! Sorry, every time I start to type about it, I get incoherent.

Is this actually playing in theaters yet? Does anyone know what movie's it's playing with? Inquiring minds.

Well, yeah, but depending on how much a company is trying to push a movie, it wouldn't be unusual for trailers to show up in theaters about four months ahead. Marvel has pushed Captain America harder and for what will be a longer period of time than Thor, for whatever reason. (I mean, just look at how it went for Thor on Superbowl Sunday. They both were having a big trailer debut but even Marvel didn't seem as interested in the Thor one, despite Thor coming out a lot sooner.) I wouldn't be surprised at all if Cap trailers started showing now or very soon.

The real date is July 22. Thor is May 4. Avengers is May 7th 2012.

July 22? I'll be at the Comic-Con! Gotta wear my Cap costume that day then!

ME TOO! I think Comic Con's gonna have a showing of it. I heard something about if you have a Four-Day Pass you get a ticket. But this is all rumors.

From what I understand, the trailer hits theaters tomorrow. I'm not sure which movies it'll be showing with, though.

I'm blaming the shades glasses. To me, that looks like a very deliberate call back to a very well known visual cliché. Made even more obvious because Howard seems to be the only one wearing glasses.

OMG Tiny Steve is so adorable! He looks like the kind of guy you want to fall all over and snuggle even though he's bony and uncomfortable. I didn't know Tommy Lee Jones was in it, but who else I suppose? It gives me sort of a call back to Inglorious Basterds trailers (haven't seen the movie :P). I love how there's obvious differences between how the scientists are looking at post-serum Steve and how the ladies (& Howard) are looking. There's awe and then there's awe. No hint of what happens to Doc Erskine immediately afterwards though. :( Sucks. From what I can see of the trailer, I like the old guy. D:

It looks to me like they're hugging a lot closer to 616 for Steve's characterization than they did for Tony's. This should be interesting. :D

OMG love! Tiny Steve is so cute. Chris Evans is really convincing in the role, in general. Also, Tony's dad being there and totally doing the removes-shades-to-perve thing is hilarious. Awesome!!!
