Okay! Signups for the Big Bang have closed, but you can still participate by signing up to beta! If you can't face 25k, why not take part in a smaller fic challenge over at the comment fic post going on on the Dreamwidth comm? Anon commenting is turned on so everyone can play. Go prompt, go fill! Make someone happy!
On a more serious note, there's been a slight uptick in people using words like 'retarded' and 'gay' (gay as an insult, obviously). No one's getting yelled at or banned, but we'd ask you all to familiarise yourself with our anti-oppression policy. We'd like for this to be a welcoming environment for everybody, so if people could take a little care with their language, that would be aces. (Filthy pornography and generic foulmouthed swearing still totally acceptable!) I'm aware we have quite a few members who don't speak English as a first language, so please, feel free to PM one of the mods if you're in doubt about whether a word is appropriate.
Back to unbridled positivity, to everyone who adored Captain America: The Fighting Avenger, there's MORE! And it's a crossover with the equally adorable Thor: The Mighty Avenger! And it's FREE!
