Looking for secret!identity!revealed! fic

Hi, I'm new here, and I'm currently digging through the "Tales of Suspense" archive. I blame especially the first Iron Man movie as well as the current Captain America one. I can't wait for the Avenger sequel.

Anyway, after being captivated by Bruce Wayne/Jim Gordon, I'm rather certain I love the old clichéd "Person A falls in love with person B and discovers their real resp. superhero identity".

Sadly, those terms aren't exactly searchable anywhere. So - would any of you be willing to point me towards any (movie! or comic!verse) Tony/Steve fic in which Steve finds out Tony is Iron Man resp. Iron Man is Tony Stark?

Pretty please - help distract me from RL. It's sucking the life right out of me at the moment. Thanks!

This is one of my all time favorite tropes! Three fics come to mind:
- T is for Thong (http://community.livejournal.com/cap_ironman/95548.html) by [livejournal.com profile] elspethdixon;
- The Classic-verse Series (http://talesofsuspense.net/viewseries.php?seriesid=2) by [livejournal.com profile] elspethdixon and [livejournal.com profile] seanchai (specifically in "To the Ends of the Earth");
- Beneath the Armor (http://www.example.com/) by [livejournal.com profile] crimsonquills.

This is one of my favorite Steve/Tony tropes also. In addition to the wonderful fics already mentioned, I'd like to add:

Hidden Truths (http://talesofsuspense.net/viewstory.php?sid=284&chapter=1) by [livejournal.com profile] penumbren

Alter Ego (http://arysteia.livejournal.com/119806.html) by [livejournal.com profile] arysteia

The Sex and Identity series (http://archiveofourown.org/series/694) by [livejournal.com profile] muccamukk

...and two alternate universe stories where Tony's dual identity is also a key plot point:

Hmm.. the only one I can think of is Hypotenuse by derryderrydown (http://archiveofourown.org/works/227890). It takes place when Steve still thinks that Tony Stark and Iron Man are two different people and that Iron Man is simply Tony's bodyguard. It's kind of a headtrip, but awesomeeee (and very porny).

If you want to do it the other way around try Look Here, Look Back, Look Ahead by [livejournal.com profile] marinarusalka

It's lovely! Tony as a villain is, well, deep down he's too much of a mushy heart to do really villainous stuff.

I was about to recommend "Hypotenuse" as I'd forgotten it before, but I just noticed it was recced already :D

Secrets of a Successful Marriage by valtyr on AO3 is another good one. Tony and Steve are married, but they don't realize they've married their own enemy. Iron Man is not-so-evil villain and Captain America works with the Avengers. It's kinda like Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

I totally recommend it.
