Hey, that's fine - just make it either movieverse or Earth's Mightiest Heroes continuity! You don't need to have read any comics for that. :)

You don't necessarily need a villain, either! Think Star Trek plots - diplomacy, exploration, scientific expeditions! It doesn't have to be a shoot em up. :)
