THE WAY I SEE IT, it's a thing that Tony loved up until his mom's death, and then he wanted nothing to do with it. Jarvis thought it was about time that someone helped him to open up and learn to love the things he once did again, and it may as well be someone who's like his new family. From one life to another, y'know? It was time to move on and love again.
