I think that could be an actual clip from the Late Show with David Letterman. I can't find that top ten list on his website but it looks exactly like his show and, assuming I'm not just wisful thinking, I think I saw that air on his show.

I think it's an edit of the footage from Chris on the show, but made to look like it's in the context of Steve talking instead. (Cos this fandom is incredible for that sort of thing!)
