It was strange that there wasn't much of an attempt to foreshadow Tony and Steve as future close friends and co-leaders of the Avengers. If they go for this idea in future movies, they'll have to build the relationship from scratch.

Tony's bffdom with Bruce was adorable, though. I loved that when the heores were going their seperate ways at the end, Tony and Bruce went together on Tony's car, such a nice touch.
