Yes! I really need to read more with both of them, I just haven't had the time lately. I'm the sort of person who needs to immerse oneself in a character before writing them, otherwise I'd love to contribute to the (sadly lacking) amount of shippy stuff with them.
Adding explosions with regular intervals would clearly be the best way to get Thoughtful Stuff past the radar. I just really enjoy movies/books/comics more if I can dig into them, unearth deeper themes and analyse the psychology behind characters and the structural narrative. It's my mutant power. Metawoman, finding depth where there is none!
It's basically a really well-made high school AU, yeah. I adore the characterisation, how the characters are different but still believably them and the character development that occurs; how Tony definitely has issues and this is acknowledged although not very explicitly, because this is a children's cartoon, but still enough to give me feelings. And the snarky humour, which is the best kind of humour. <3
