Summary: It's really got to say something about a guy when you can defeat Doombots, AIM, Interdimensional Yeti, SHIELD's systemic obfuscation, Asgardian Gods, Fox News, and also kick some serious Alien ass with a guy, and still want to punch him in the head over dinner, hasn't it? Tony's sure that means something.
Also? Tony may be hyperactive, compulsively creative and a little bit self-obsessed sometimes, but he can definitely tell when Steve Rogers is up to something!
Pairings/Characters: Tony/Pepper at present, though the series arc will incline to Steve/Tony
Word Count: 6509 words

Notes: This is technically a WIP, completed through section 4. As the series title suggests, there will be more, and they will be interknit. Later segments will get longer. Lots longer. And probably smexy too. Also: Consider this official permission for any artist who wishes to illustrate this (hell, or any) segment of the story, especially the contents of Steve's sketchbook -- Go for it. Seriously. I have no gift for caricature, so it's not gonna come out of MY pencil anytime soon. But I'd still love to see it.
