Welcome to the cap_ironman/cap_ironman newsletter. As to be expected, there continues to be buzz about the Cap movie. I thought this post about marketing the movie simply as The First Avenger outside of America was interesting.

I'm kind of surprised that I haven't seen a Cap trailer yet. It makes me worry that they won't hit the target release. Considering how late they cast Chris Evans, it wouldn't surprise me. D: But still! Worried.

(In a side-note, wtf is it with the Avengers and big blond guys named Chris? Do they have any idea how difficult to write this is going to make the RPS?)

If the movie is good it will be fantastic, but I have enough apprehension that I feel they might as well take their time. Plus, Marvel must know by now how important a good trailer has been for their movies. Cap's trailer has to live up to Iron Man's and Thor's.

Heh. The casting department just want RPS writers to stretch their creative muscles.

Maybe that's it. All things considered, taking their time is going to be important. Cap could be a hard sell if they're not careful. :( But I do not want this to be their 2011 "oops", and I do not feel I can trust them not to drop the ball.

Pfft. Creative muscles are not the ones that should be exercised when it comes to porn.
