Randomly weighing in on your random weighing in :D

I have read the early Cap run where we first see Sharon and it was pretty creepy from his side (He also made RIck Jones dress like Bucky because he thought THEY looked alike. Stan Lee!Steve, Man; he had issues). From her side? She wasn't initially very interested. She was just kind of scooting along doing her job like her older sister had (there was only a twenty year time gap at that point, which lead to a really different feel to Steve waking up). Steve proposed to her before he even knew her name, at one point (he never knew Peggy's name either). She was like, lol, no. But he ended up kind of pestering her into dating him. It was really kind of this odd '60s thing.

Then there was this Englehart retcon in the early '70s where Sharon had join SHIELD just to date Steve. Which was subsequently ignored by everyone because a) creepy and b) it didn't make sense: she would already have been an agent before he woke up.

I liked her a lot more when she came back from the dead in the mid '90s, and kind of had her own thing going on that wasn't entirely Steve centric.

tl:dr: The '60s Steve/Sharon was creepy too.
