News:
Not really related to Steve/Tony, but this is pretty cool: a couple at DragonCon actually recreated Jean-Paul and Kyle's wedding from Astonishing X-Men #51

Iron Patriot will be showing up in the Ultimate Universe in December. I'm interested to see who'll be in the armour.

In Marvel Now! news, hail, hail the gang's all here in some pretty neat looking interlocking covers with the "Big Three" front and centre. Kieron Gillen has a long interview over at CBR about his plans for the Iron Man relaunch.

Just as Chris Evans has let slip the production start date for Cap 2, the writers of Cap the First have done a retrospective interview about the launching Steve into the movies.

Finally, Digital Spy has a piece about the special effects in Avengers, including Stark Tower, and promo images for Tony's IM3 armour are out.

Me too. I haven't put it on my pull list because I want to take a flip through to see how Land the art is, but damn the story sounds fun.

I'll probably have some more coherent thoughts later, but every time I see Tony's new armour, the colour scheme throws me. Like he is rebranding as Iron Wasp or something.

Which one? The red and black Wasp armour or the red and gold Wasp armour? JUST BRING HER BACK, YOU GUYS! You're not fooling anyone.

The black and gold, actually. I associate red as an intrinsically iron man colour but that much black throws me. XD And god, I know! HOW many years has she been dead now, Marvel? It is way past time to bring Jan back. I'm hoping that she will be included in the Avengers who haven't been revealed yet for spoiler reasons. Weren't Marvel teasing something about bringing back a long time Avenger at the end of AvX? I swear I read something to that effect. Unless they meant Wanda, but she is already back and it's not the end yet.

Anyway, I'm not sure yet how I feel about the new Avengers line up - obviously there is a push to make all Avengers media be closer to the movie by including the movie line-up which, I like the movie, but I like it as a separate entity, and I just don't care that much about 616 Hulk. Maybe Hickman can change my mind. There aren't that many women yet, but he actually flagged that in the article you linked, so I'm hoping more of the unrevealed characters will be women (like Jan. and Wanda). Also, I am super psyched about getting an Australian avenger!! Finally Australia gets to represent something other than being ineffectually villainous, having concentration camps in House of M, or needing to be saved by Iron Man!
