Cap_Ironman Weekly News, Week Ending 11 December 2012
Welcome to the
cap_ironman/
cap_ironman newsletter. I want to remind everyone that the 2013 Gift Exchange community prompts are still up to inspire your muse, should you be in the mood for some winter writing. It finally snowed here and that always makes me want to curl up with some coffee and write. And the fic and art for the exchange is due December 29th, so you have time.
There's some casting news and new stills for Iron Man III. On the comic book side of things, Marvel dominated November sales with eight of the top ten selling books. Surprisingly enough, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book ranked #15.
Feel free to chat about anything in the comments here, just keep it reasonably safe for work!

Mmm, I dunno. Comic's are kinda niche, where as MLP's popularity boomed with the new cartoon, especially considering the Brony thing. And Hasbro markets everything, and a lot of fans will take it all.

You know, I was thinking about comics being sold in comic book shops, and was forgetting all the fans the book might be reaching if they're selling it in Barnes & Noble or Toys R Us, or other mainstream establishments. In that case, yeah, it's not that surprising.
