In MCU news, Don Cheadle has been given the poster treatment for IM3. Emily VanCamp has landed the female lead (presumably Sharon Carter) in CA2. And Chris Pratt has been confirmed as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.

What's that, you're not up on GotG? Well, you're not alone, and Marvel knows it. Without name recognition or lead-in movies to lure a potential audience, they're resorting to blatant marketing tactics: throw Tony Stark at the franchise and hope something sticks.

Emily VanCamp definitely looks like a Sharon Carter, so I'm buying that idea for now.

Marvel really has been working to tie in 616 with movie-verse lately, and the matching timing for Tony going Guardian in comics and movie is really ramping it up.

Hi, new mods. Welcome and thanks for keeping the Cap Ironman news coming. I've been meaning to drop a couple of polite requests / suggestions for a while now, but thought this might be a good time. They are not demands, just ideas, from someone who has been knocking around fandom and fandom newsletters for a while.

Would you consider listing word counts and ratings for fics? And even better, if you could identify WiPs and/or Completed fics, that would be even more awesome.

I don't think it would take much more work, as the information should be readily available when you find the fics - but would make looking for reading material much nicer for people who don't have time to open every link.

Anyway, will leave it with you guys, and thank you again for keeping the fandom love going.

Hi! Thanks for the welcome and the input. We'll definitely take it into consideration. It of course depends on the authors to give us some of that info, too. Mostly word count, because the WiP status is usually mentioned somehow. So we'll toss the ideas around etc.
