Welcome back to the cap_ironman / cap_ironman newsletter.
NEWS! **links contain spoilers**
The big movie news is of course that the Iron Man 3 press tour has kicked off, seeing people in Seoul, South Korea treated to some actor goodness today. (See: all over.) There is going to be a LOT more of that these coming days, so depending on your feelings about Robert Downey!Tony you may want to stalk the web/stay away.
Also, Tony (or rather his armors) go to Disneyland.
In other movie news Den of Geek reports that Avengers 2 is going into pre-production in early 2014 - and that it will be in London.
Staying on Marvel movie news and Phase Two there's the fantastic concept art, some of which is for Winter Soldier and there's of course the Phase Two teaser from the Phase One box set. (This mod just HAS to vent about said box set with all the trimmings only being available in the US on region 1. *shakes fist at Disney*)
Also, that casting spoiler for Captain America: Winter Soldier we talked about last week is confirmed with actual part attached.
In comics, there's news about the next Marvel event Infinity - there's also the option to see a (recording of a) live interview with writer Jonathan Hickman, along with Alex Alonso and Tom Brevoort, about it. Apparently there's already "seeds planted" for the event in the Avengers and New Avengers titles.
Comicbookresources had a recent poll about the best Iron Man stories ever told. The results are in. What do you guys think? Did their readers get it right or would you choose otherwise?
(Also, yet another Avengers team Avengers A.I. will be coming to a store near you soon. But since neither Steve nor Tony looks to be on the team, it only gets honorary mention. How many Avengers teams are we going to get? I'm starting to be confused *G*)
