Aww, so cute, when Tony takes care of his emotional hurt friend.
Tony always seems to be an arrogant asshole who doesn't care about feelings and what others may think about him. But it is a perfect masquerade to the world. You will only see the real Tony when someone hurts the people he loves. Than he always protects his friends and family and trys to make them feel better. :)

Thank you! I absolutely agree that Tony uses his arrogance as another form of armor. He does care about people - very deeply. But when someone he cares about is suddenly threatened or at risk, then you better watch out.

I like getting to explore that side of him. Usually it's Steve going all Protector Mode on Tony, so it was fun for me to write it the other way around. :-)

Yes, I think I know what you mean. :)
I am really new on that Tony/Steve thing, so I tried to write a little funny story, where Tony stormed into the living room only wearing a towel and wet hair and is yelling into Thor's face:"God or no God! I swear to you! If that little perv is showing himself under the shower again when I am under it, I so will cut his head off!" Thor:"Who do you mean with *perv*, Man of Iron?" *Who I mean?! LOKI, YOUR BROTHER!* LOL :)
So Thor thinks Tony will become his brother's husband and Tony looks so helpless to Steve that the Captain is kissing Tony in front of all Avengers and telling them that Tony belongs to him. :)
Okay, the story is a bit longer than here but it is in german. Maybe I will translate it into englisch later. because it is only the first chapter of it. :)
