The tension reaches a breaking point as they deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Steve's new life in the 21st century, and Tony's efforts to prove himself without the suit.
It's not the life Steve though he would have, but it's what he has and he's making the best of it. And then he realizes he’s being followed by an enemy whose goal is nothing more than replacing him as Captain America....
