50 Years of Cap and Iron Man: the meme

The Avengers had their 50th anniversary back in September. As you're probably aware, Cap was not a founding member, but joined the team in Avengers v1 #4, which was published in March of 1964. Which means that we're about to celebrate 50 years of Steve and Tony goodness--and badness, oh comics!--starting with a meme style fic and art challenge which will remain open for the next few months.

Why Dreamwidth?
DW still supports subjects for comments, and has a larger max character limit than LJ. Tumblr is simply hopeless for this kind of thing.

Anon?
Allowed, not required (with one exception, see prompts**). If you don't have a DW account, you can always comment as anon but sign your username.

Prompts?
Must be Steve/Tony or Steve and Tony as focal characters. Other characters are permitted as side characters. Side pairings permitted, but we're looking for endgame Stony. S/T threesomes and moresomes permitted. Gen permitted. Fic, art, graphics, vids, fan soundtracks are permitted media. Prompting for a specific media is permitted; if no media is listed then "any" is assumed.

**Special rule for holiday gift exchange participants! If there is a prompt you received as part of your gift assignment which you want to see but do not intend to submit for the exchange, you may leave the prompt here for the community to fill. I'll go first. I'd love some icon-sized graphics (100px square or less) for comm members to use. Comic or movie source or original art, it's all good.

I want to see Kid!Steve protect Tony from Indries.

Something happens and Steve gets turned into a kid. While he likes the other avengers and Iron Man his favorite person is Tony Stark. When Indries Moomji starts drugging Tony into loving her, Tony's visits to Kid!Steve are reduced or stop. Kid!Steve takes matters into his own hands and decides to visit Tony. Being the stubborn person he is once he manages to make his way over to Tony's office and home he's not going to leave. Tony of course introduces him to Indries, the "love" of his life. It can be during any point in Tony's "relationship" with her. Steve of course immediately doesn't like her or trust her.

Bonus: If he kicks her in the shin.
Bonus x2: If he removes the bottle of wine Indries left in Tony's bedroom and thwarts her other attempts to make Tony fall off the wagon.
Bonus x10000: If he happens to show up when she's ripping Tony up, stops her and convinces Tony that she was wrong.(In the Comics, even later after he knows she was a villain he still believes the things she said about him.)

Don't want: I don't want anything romantic between Tony and Steve while Steve's a kid. If you want to continue the story afterwards when Steve's grown up and get them together that's fine with me.

Mem here. Gee, I wonder why this one sounds familiar. XD Also, I still say you should write it, but at least it's out there for someone else to write now, because it does need to exist.

I already have a long enough list of fics I "need" to write to keep me busy until spring at the earliest.

After civil war, when everything is a mess and before Steve and Tony have started to make amends, the 616 and MA:A universes swap Tonys. Neither Tony handles it very well.

Steve hovers--a lot. Whenever Tony is injured, sick, or just plain tired, it seems like Steve is always there to try to get him to take it easy, and Tony notices that Steve isn't /nearly/ as overbearing around the other Avengers.

Tony is pissed, assuming that he acts that way because Tony has a heart condition and thinking Steve thinks he's "fragile" compared to the others, when actually Steve is just hopelessly in love with him. Misunderstandings and angst are welcome and encouraged :)

Can I get an AU where Steve and Tony dated in high school, and everyone was always trying to tell Tony that he could do better because he was rich and handsome and Steve was still tiny!Steve. They go on to college and Steve hit a major growth spurt and blah blah they're happily married.

Fast forward to their HS reunion, and Tony overhears someone who doesn't recognize talking about how he'd finally wised up and dumped Steve for someone in his league.

Give me Steve's first Thanksgiving after being pulled out of the ice. Tony organizes a huge dinner at the mansion (which, unfortunately, Iron Man is unable to attend) and invites all of the Avengers to help make Steve feel at home.

It's still a bit soon for this, but holiday gift exchange prompts are mentioned and made me wishing for some Christmas story. :)

Steve noticed how tired Tony is lately, caught up in Avengers' and Iron Man's solo missions, keeping Avengers' weaponry and suits always up to date, designing ever the coolest and newest gadjets both for R&D and SHIELD.

He also noticed Tony looks *very* interested in Steve, that finally prompts Steve to use some creativity and think up something special for their Christmas holidays, hoping it's going to make Tony as happy as he. On Christmas morning he sits under Tony's tree together with the other gifts, offer himself as gift and waiting for Tony to come and, hum, unwrap him.

Bonus: I'd love for this if it was both smutty & uber romantic. :)

When they finally hook up, it turns out that Steve has fewer reservations and more experience (with guys) than Tony does.

Tony only realizes he's attracted to Cap after Extremis handily points out his physical reactions (breathing/heart rate, accounts of where all that blood is rushing to winkwink) to being with Steve :)

This entire time, Tony just thought it was all the heat of battle.

616 works, but a hypothetical MA:A universe where Tony receives the Extremis would also be adorable.

Oh, no. This prompt is horrible (by which I mean, the best prompt ever and I HAVE TOO MANY STORIES ALREADY DAMN IT)

I have one million seconds for the MA:A verse idea uwu

I'd like a fic with Tony as an empath, where he feels the emotions of people around him. He's kept it secret from everyone, but he's always felt exactly how disappointed his father was with him. Over the years, he becomes focused on the negative emotions because they always feel stronger. It's hard for him to pick out the more positive emotions. He can feel that Pepper really does love him, but the worry and headache he gives her comes through stronger and he eventually breaks it off so that she isn't tied up in that mangle of emotions forever.

Then Steve comes along. Tony can feel Steve's anger and resentment, even some of that ever familiar disappointment, but slowly that changes and Tony doesn't know what to make of that, or how quickly he's falling for Steve. When they start having sex, after the fourth or fifth time, Steve drives Tony to completely loosing his self control and he starts projecting his feelings during the sex, made sharper by the close contact. Steve, thinking this is the most fantastic feeling, keeps going and Tony doesn't even realize he's doing it.

After, Steve asks him about it, half awed and Tony closes up and gets defense. H/C and a happy ending please.

+10 for Bottom!Tony
+100 for Pepper feels. Treat her respectfully please!
+1000 for Rhodey being the one person who has actually figured it out, probably from one of Tony's attempts to use a little emotional manipulation.

Steve is getting a little frustrated with Tony. There's that whole team player thing, or lack there of, and Tony simply being Tony Stark. He watches carefully to see what he can do to help the team work better together, and notices that yelling at Tony/punishments really doesn't work.

So he decides to try some positive reinforcement. Instead of telling Tony what he did wrong after a fight, he tells him good job, he's really helped, though it would be appreciated if Tony let the others know the change in plan next time. No one is more shocked at this turn of events than Tony, who has absolutely no idea of how to deal with it.

I'd like to see Tony slowly becoming a better team player, because he's never had that sort of approval before. No real need for minor references to Taming of the Shrew (or even better, Kiss Me Kate), but I would love you forever if you managed to work in the quote from the title. Especially if Steve is the one who mutters it where someone (not Tony) overhears, and then relays it to Tony who gets just a little offended that he's being compared to the Shrew.

Au! where Steve and Tony are abducted. Tony is pregnant with steve´s child and losing blood quickly so he tells Steve to operate him and save the baby.

Steve is an NYPD detective and Tony is a defense attorney, and both of them are very good at their jobs. At first Steve doesn't really like Tony, because he thinks that he's just helping criminals get away with their crimes for the sake of money, and the two of them generally don't get along. Then Steve gets framed for a murder, and for some reason beyond his comprehension, Tony takes his case pro bono.

(Bonus if as Steve and Tony eventually get to know each other better, Steve learns that Tony only takes a client on if he truly believes they're innocent.)

Prompt: Steve has magic powers, Tony learns it when he uses them, the day Jarvis die.

Okay, so what I want is a Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne fusion, because really, Avengers fandom needs more magical girl prompts. Though without the magical girl, please. No crossdressing needed, just the plot.

Steve is a normal, if lonely guy, who is the reincarnation of Captain America and needs to seal demons in paintings. He is helped by an demi-angel named Hawkeye to collect chess pieces and protect people from the demon's influence.

Tony is a rich guy with huge daddy issues, who transforms into Sinbad/Iron Man (I'm actually rather fond of the idea of a mechanized Sinbad, because I think Tony would enjoy this role overly much) and a secretive mission to keep Steve from collecting the chess pieces. He decides to do this with seduction and the help of a little black angel with red on her ledger. As far as Steve knows, they're working for the devil (Loki?).

Just run with it. Other characters I'll leave the matching up to the filler (there's lots of fun combinations), but I would love you forever for using the Fin Fish plotline with Hawkeye.

Think about it. Coulson is totally Zen-kun. Steve, you were my wind...

Either 5 things Tony made Steve do that he would have never done on his own, or 5 things Steve made Tony do that he would have never done on his own. Maybe a +1 of something that both of did for the first time together?

Blood dripping out from the armor is one of the most terrifying things Steve's seen.

This idea is all Mem's fault.

Poor Steve is sooo confused.... Tony keeps randomly changing sexes for some reason. It can be treated as seriously or cracky as you want.

Some thoughts on ways you might want to take it.

- Tony isn't aware of when it happens. Which ever sex he is, is the one he always remembers being.

- Tony is aware and Tony tries to keep a secret for awhile.

Do Not Want: Non-Con, Misogyny, Personality transplant with sex change.
