We've not had a com chat in awhile and since today is the day to pick RBB art drafts, I thought people might like to talk about it.

The #cap-im IRC channel is on dal.net. If you’re using a regular client, the server is dal.net and the channel is #cap-im. Or you can use the web-based client here: http://www.dal.net/ On the right where it says “chat now”, choose your nick and enter #cap-im as the channel. If you reach a prompt without joining the channel, type: /join #cap-im

Well the dal.net web client seems to not be working. Ylixia found an alternative that works here are the details on how to use it.
The URL:https://kiwiirc.com/client
Put in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it looked like when I filled it out.

The server looks down from where I live. :( So a shame, I really wanted to go in, am so curious about Reverse Bang discussions going on there. :(

That is strange. I was able to get in fine. Sorry I missed your responses. Where you trying to connect via the webpage or an irc client?

The channel has been strangely quiet today. I think you are probably not the only one with the issue.

I tried several times and from different internet connections, it never worked.

Now, from that other place I think I'm in, though I think there's like 3 users right now.

yea. It has been very quiet this morning. A lot of people couldn't get in because of dal.net webpage being down.

I tried joining via the alternate method, but I can't see anyone in here except myself. Is there really nobody around or did I do something wrong?

I think you did something wrong. Did you make sure that the server was irc.dal.net and the channel was #cap-im?
