Basic plot or premise: What it says on the tin. Tony is a mechanic and Steve is the guy who brings him small home appliances to fix.
Why you're recommending the piece: BECAUSE STEVE WOOS TONY WITH BROKEN TOASTERS. Seriously, this is one of the most adorable things. Also works for Steve pining, since Tony is absolutely clueless. Really though, you should have just clicked the link after that first sentence.

Why you're recommending the piece: Honestly, I like that Steve gets to have sex with people other than Tony before a relationship happens. Tony's a playboy, so often there is an imbalance of experience/knowledge in many Steve/Tony fic. Here, Steve gets to increase his experience level with people who are caring and willing to teach; and it makes the potential future relationship with Tony a little more balanced and equal in terms of experience/knowledge.

I was so disappointed there was no drawing in that last scene, since that was like some of the best sexy times. XD Really lovely fic though. Steve pines beautifully.

Why you're recommending the piece: If I remember correctly, the Steve characterization is a little bland, but the fic is hilarious enough to make up for it. Seriously, read this on a bad day and you won't regret it. The octopus steals the fic. Also Steve pining. When did I get so many Steve pining fics? I obviously need more Steve angst.
