Avengers (and some of NA) was filled with Steve and Tony being friends and doing big awesome things together. It was just built on a foundation of BETRAYAL which had to crumble some time. (Oh Tony, he knew what the consequences would be yet did it all anyway.)

Characterization wise, I think Hickmanvengers the best we've seen of these two since before CW. It certainly blows both current solo titles out of the water. They are terrible and cannot be rectoned fast enough.
