Chat Time!

Come to the IRC and chat! There are already four RBB stories up and more to come as the month progresses. If you need support getting to the RBB finish line we'll be there as well. Plus, as always, any conversation about Steve and Tony is welcome.

The #cap-im IRC channel is on dal.net. If you’re using a regular irc client the server is irc.dal.net and the channel is #cap-im. There is a web client at kiwiirc.com below are instructions for using it.

Got to https://kiwiirc.com/client. Type in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it looked like when I filled it out.

Hi! Try checking out www.dal.net/ (http://www.dal.net/) - on the right-hand side of the screen, under the 'Chat Now' section, you enter in your preferred nickname and set the channel to #cap-im (no server or port modification should be needed).

Since Kiwi's having issues and Dal's had them in the past, I went looking for a few more alternatives. Turns out that in-browser IRC clients that allow you to specify the server and don't have shady Java usage are pretty thin on the ground. I did manage to locate one more, though: www.wsirc.com/ (http://www.wsirc.com/)

The thing to fill out is the box at the right, which should end up looking like this:
