Emergency Support Chat and Reaction Thread for Avengers #29

Avengers 29 is out and all the Steve/Tony feels are running rampant. Both this post and chat today will be all about this today. So, if you want to avoid spoilers don't log on to IRC today and don't read the comments. Our regularly scheduled weekend chat will be on Sunday.

So, let's here your thoughts in this post or in chat. If you don't mind the spoilers, those that haven't read it or aren't that interested in it are more than welcome to show up. Just be aware of what will be on everyone's minds.

I'm not going to on chat until three to four hours from now, but I wanted this up for people to reply to and to make sure people know about the spoilers that will be showing up in chat today.

The #cap-im IRC channel is on DALnet. If you’re using a regular irc client the server is irc.dal.net and the channel is #cap-im. There is three different options below of web clients. If one doesn't work try a different one.

Got to https://kiwiirc.com/client. Type in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it looked like when I filled it out.


Teyke found yet another web client option if the two above aren't working. Go to http://www.wsirc.com/ and fill out the box to the right like Teyke's example below.


Last chat there were a few people who were able to get the http://www.dal.net/ web client working, so I've added it back here. Under Chat Now fill in your nickname and #cap-im.

My initial thoughts, I still need time to digest it all though.. Also I've put a fainting couch in the corner with smelling salts for those that need it.

Well it has happened. Steve has remembered and as most of us predicted he went off the rails. And Tony eggs him on! Has he no self preservation. All the kudos for Thor who knew just like we do that Steve is never rational when it comes to Tony. And the Time Gem showing up at the end. *throws up hands* I can't wait for the next one to find out what happens.

Okay first of the whole scene with T'Challa was awesome. And Stephen showed up, but we still don't know the results of his deal. *nervious* The best part though has to be Tony talking to the Black Swan. I need to process it more, but it really felt to me like they were having too different conversation. Tony also all beat up. Does this take place after the encounter with Steve?

I have a lot of thoughts, most of which I posted to tumblr in bouts of "okay let's be coherent" in between crying about Hickman.

I'm crying about Hickman a lot lately.

I LOVED BOTH OF TODAY'S ISSUES.

Okay, Steve went a bit over the top, especially with his last threat, but oh, Tony, Tony, Tony. Tony was so IC it hurt. (It's usually the case with Hickman).

And then, NA17, defeated, broken Tony. Yes. Good.
