Discussion Question Wednesday!

It's that time again!

What kinds of costumes would Steve and Tony wear for Halloween?

That's right. I'm told by a reasonably reliable source that Halloween should go all month, so let's get the party started a little early!  What kind of costumes do you think the Avengers would wear to a Halloween party or to give out candy?  What kind of candy would they like the best?  Would Steve and Tony go as a matching couple or surprise each other with their costumes?  Feel free to add art or fic (and who knows, it's still early enough you might inspire someone!), and definitely throw some recs at us if you have them!

I think Tony would go as the Tin Man and try to talk Steve into the Scarecrow. :^)

Yay! Someone is answering the question! It's like, no one was answering, and it made me sad because I thought this was a good one. But apparently not. XD

Tony would make a good Tin Man. And Steve would probably be really cute as the Scarecrow. Does that make Thor the Lion?

I think Bruce would refuse to be the wicked witch on principle though. No, Tony, just because he's green too does not mean he'll do it.

I'd like Bruce as Toto!

Natasha would make a great Dorothy, and Pepper could be Glinda the good witch.

Fury could be the Wizard.

Mmm...Loki has to be the wicked witch, he really does.

Hmmm... ran out of good guys. Maybe he could be a flying monkey. :^)

Or maybe Thor could be a flying monkey and Clint could be Toto and Bruce could be the Lion?

Hm. I was thinking Clint could be the horse of a different color, but that's kind of cruel. Both of those could would though. XD

The monkeys were controlled by the witch, and forced to do her bidding, which I only just now remembered! (Not sure if it was mentioned in the movie, or if I read it in the book).

So that works really well for Clint.

I like thinking of Steve going as people from American history just to troll others. Because people expect it of him, but he'll also pick one that no one realizes was really a dick and be 'in character'. Either that or he'd just be Alexander Hamilton and start duels. XD

Tony, for some reason, I just want to see as Young Frankenstein. Don't ask me why. I just do.

Well, canonically, Tony went dressed as Steve, of course :D
