Summary: An American Story of the Wild West. Captain Steve Rogers is a recovering Civil War veteran who has accepted a position as sheriff of the small town Avenge in the Western Territories of the United States in the 1870s. He’s joined by his war injured friend, Bucky Barnes and his deputy Clint Barton. As the only protection the small town has, Steve Rogers puts life and limb on the line to keep the tyrant Johann Schmidt and his Red Skull gang from sending the town into Hell. But when Avenge is desperate, a faithful telegraph to answer an ad from a penny novel is sent to one Tony Stark. The Sheriff and the new blacksmith, Tony Stark clash on different levels. One thing the Sheriff knows is that Tony Stark is hiding something about his involvement with the Union Army during the Civil War. It could spell the end for Avenge, but it could redeem them all.
