*smoosh* =3

I like the gray hair at the temples. ^___^

Yet another fandom you drag me into. =3 I still know next to nothing, however.

So cute! *squishes the boys*

*squishes you*

I love thinking of them growing old together. I don't know if they could ever "retire", but I like to think they could, eventually. Hmmm...might make a good discussion post...

Steve's expressing is beautiful here. Sort of fond and slightly exasperated. I can't wait to see it colored! :-)

:) It IS a lovely thought~ I of course have long, ranting opinions on this subject~ Once you get caught up with your e-mail you should post a discussion on the comm, sos we can rant in style~~~

Great minds think alike! *g* I decided this morning that I would reward myself for catching up by making a discussion post on this. :-) Thereby generating more comments, but hey, whatever. *g* And if the comm is public by then (which I expect it will be, given how much e-mail and such I have to catch up on), I can pimp it by linking to the discussion post on [livejournal.com profile] stevelovestony. In some ways, a discussion post is even better pimping than a story, because you keep coming back to a discussion post, but you can just read a story and leave.

*g* Thanks! Steve's expression was the hardest part >.>

I can imagine! It's a subtle combination of expressions.

And yeah, eyerolling would look weird in a still photo, wouldn't it? *g*

I also want to see it colored - I have this thing about night-time pictures vs. lineart, since the lineart is WHITE with black and then it turns to something mostly dark? Yeah, more visceral reaction to that than something v. bright :) But I'm strange like that *grin*

Nah, I can see where you're coming from. :-) You don't really get the feel of a night-time scene in lineart, no matter how nice the line art is, because so much mood is inherent in the lighting.

In my head, since the supersoldier serum arguably involves a low-level healing factor (or something, because normal people don't survive fifty years frozen in ice without aging or, you know, dying) and since Tony canonically has one now via the Extremis, they get to lead the Avengers for a very long time, until they eventually hand the leadership over to somebody like Danielle "Immortal Iron Fist" Cage-Jones.

Makes sense to me! I like the idea of them having a long life together. :-) But I can also see folks arguing that they don't have the kind of personalities that could retire. But I'm planning to make a discussion post on this topic to [livejournal.com profile] cap_ironman just as soon as I finish catching up on LJ comment replies, so I will leave it there for now. :-)

I love Tony's Howard-Stark-esque grey streaks, and the reading glasses! And Steve's little smile as he turns out the light (also, the tiny little balls on the lamp chain are awesome).

Great

I quote loosely from the "Roughest Day" (at least I think it´s from there):

"Living together....like being married, only...not."

I'm always a sucker for domestic scenes. :)

I love the expression on Steve's face! :)

Tro, there are NO WORDS for how much I love Tony's face (or what we can see of it) in this. It's perfect, honestly. I love the mini-wrinkles on his eyelids; the detail is SO so good. And Steve's expression is just incredibly sweet. Exasperated but fond at the same time.

I really love Tony's left hand for some reason. Like, really love. The joints and placement of the fingers are so well done, and I know fingers are a BITCH to draw.

So good. ;_;

See... you are just so good at expression! *jealous pouting*

I love all of your drawings... and the idea that they are together through everything and have a happy (married) domesticity to them is sooo what my heart needs!

I love them both so much ^_^ ::hugs:: and in your drawings you can see the expressions they were always meant to have towards each other... (stupid Marvel only using sub-text >_>)

I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet.

This is absolutely lovely, from Tony's hands to Steve's deeply affectionate expression. The whole scene just makes me incredibly happy; it's so peaceful and sweet.
