Invicible Iron Man news

There's been a lot of interviews with Bendis lately about his upcoming Tony solo (who else isn't over the news? I can't wait!).

The first issue will be out in October. Four months seems so long now.

What we know:
- he will be uninverted
- it will deal with SIM and the recent canon
- it will also deal with Gillen
- new supporting cast, new villains
- new armour which can adapt to be all the previous armours?
- Tony will be the central figure of the new Marvel universe
- ...probably something else I'm forgetting at the moment, tbh.

But the reason I'm making this post is this: a live chat with Bendis has just finished. And this is very relevant to all of us:
Bendis was asked if he'd touch on Tony's relationship with Steve. His answer?
"I like their relationship. I think they challenge each other in ways others cannot. With Steve's new status quo, there are new aspects to explore."

They have also posted concept art of the armour:

Steve's new status quo means Steve stays old and I don't read Marvel comics. I mean what the hell? Why? I am excited about Tony and all that goes with it. But why the hell does Steve have to be old? So no, I am not happy about that part at all. :(

I get you, I'm not particularly happy about the old part. Well, to be more specific the likelihood this means his book is still in remender's hands and he'll probably stay old as long as he's writing the book. But, I'm happy that Steve and Tony's relationship will show up in Invincible Iron Man.
