Hello everyone!

The Cap-Iron Man Tiny Reverse Bang is proud to present you with challenge badges. What are they, exactly? They are like a digital merit badge. It’s our way of thanking the participating authors of this challenge.

Badges are awarded each Round to authors who have submitted a fic/drabble for that round. There will be a different badge for each round, so be sure to check out the new art each week!

FAQ

How do I claim a challenge badge?
The mods will do our best to reach you.
If you have a tumblr account, be sure to send the capim-tinybang an ASK so we can give you your badge(s). If you are on LJ or posting on AO3, email us at cap.im.events[at]gmail.com with the subject “Challenge Badges” with your author name and/or link to your fic.

Why can’t you just send me my badge?
Tumblr doesn’t allow links when sending an ASK. But, it turns out you can reply with links if someone sends you an ASK. AO3 also doesn't seem to have a messaging system, but if you are on LJ, make sure to have your inbox open.

If I write for a past round, will I still get a badge?
We do encourage writing for past rounds! :) Late fills will receive their badges at the end of the event as a whole.

Can I display my badge?
You may display your badge (at a smaller size 250x250px) after the round you’ve earned it for has ended. If you really want to be awesome, you could also link back to the artist who inspired the round. :D

Where can I display my badge?
Wherever you want! One suggestion would be right next to wherever your fic is posted. So if it’s on tumblr, an image insert would work. Or if your fic is posted on AO3 / LJ you can insert the badge there.
Another option could be to make a separate tumblr post (or a post on your LJ) and post all your badges there like a round-up. If you’re HTML/CSS savvy you could possibly have them floating on your tumblr theme like fandom scarves.

What does it mean when it says not to “redistribute” this badge?
Do not alter the badges. Do not sell the badges or the images on the badges. These are gifts to the participants of this event, which you earn by writing for the rounds.

Can I save them to my computer?
Yes

Can I print them out?
Sure, why not. I believe the higher resolution images should print out to 1.5x1.5" (if I did them right) like a real badge!
