navaan! Now that the list is fully moved, we are looking to update it with new moments and would love to hear all your suggestions.
The new bingo round kicked off on August 1st. If you haven't already gotten a card, you can request one at any time throughout the round, which will end January 31st, 2015. The winners of the last round have been awarded certificates and banners for their achievements!
In events news, remember that the Big Bang draft deadline is September 23rd -- only a little over five weeks away! If this makes you feel a bit frantic, check out the latest support and chatter post for cheerleading. Remember, you don't need to have signed up in advance to participate in this bang -- so long as you hand in a draft by the deadline, you're golden!
The Tiny RB is also progressing at an amazing pace, and you can find roundups for the last four rounds linked to in the fanworks roundup below. We're currently on Round 7, GOLDEN! If you've completed a round, make sure to claim your challenge badge.
Marvel news:
Secret Wars continues, with multiple storylines Very Relevant To Our Interests! 1872 #2 is out next week (check out the lettered preview - spoilers!), following an awesome and slashy (and awesomely slashy) first issue. Ults!Steve continues to chase after two Tonys in the next (and final) Ultimate End, due out September 9th. Civil War #2 gave us more of amazingly hot silver fox!Tony (and Steve, but damn, rock those glasses, Tony), and #3 will be out August 26th. In other worlds, Tony and Arno will clash in Armor Wars #4 (lettered preview - spoilers!), while Gladiator!Steve (whose style I approve of so hard) concluded his story in the fourth and final issue of Planet Hulk this week. We've also gotten our first taste of what's to come after the end: there's an awesome preview out for Invincible Iron Man #1 with Bendis and Marquez, which the comm discussed here (earlier discussion of the series announcement was here).
Marvel is launching a new Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon, and has some shorts out. Since the Guardians have already showed up a couple times in AA to banter and kick butt, it doesn't seem too much to hope that we'll get an episode with the Avengers. Avengers Assemble itself has two more episodes left this year, due to premier in September, before it takes a break until the third season in 2016.
And in movie news, Ant-Man premiered around the globe with a juicy after-credits teaser, which contains a very tiny sneakpeek of next year's Captain America 3: Civil War! (Whether the snippet implies they're on good terms or bad terms, uh, I'll leave that to the comments section.)
