Another week, another chat! Join us in IRC
Another week has passed and it's about time for another chat! With the reveal of the Holiday Exchange authors and giftees, our fun-filled holiday season has slowed to a halt. We've packed up the trees, we've blown out the candles, and now we're going to continue the fun with more events! For a far more detailed summary of past, present, and futures news and happenings, check out the lovely newsletter by the mods! For those of us wanting to jump right back into the fray with the 2016 Remix, sign-ups end in 7 hours. If you haven't signed up already, are planning to sign up, or have no idea what on earth that is, check out the post to sign up and/or get more information.
Another issue of Invincible Iron Man dropped this week, and you can check out the discussion post to get a conversation started, or jump into the spoiler channel on irc to discuss it with other readers. If you also like some gaming with your slash (or slash with your gaming, no judging) and you're ready to look at Steam without having sale-related flashbacks, there's now a Steam group!
Whether you want to chat about current events in the community, your projects, share fanworks you want to rec, or just chat about Steve and Tony (or this neat cat that followed you home), this is the place for it! And remember, as always, lurkers are welcome.
Next chat is planned for Saturday, January 16th. Don't forget that you can log into the irc channel at any point during the week. Normally, there will be other people around.
As a reminder we have a channel #cap-im-spoilers for conversations about new tv episodes, comic book issues and other spoilers. If no one is currently in there, just stop by the regular channel and let people know you want to talk about spoilers. :) To get to this channel use the same method you would for #cap-im but type #cap-im-spoilers instead; alternatively, once you are connected to IRC, type '/join #cap-im-spoilers' in the command line.
