A Bit Over a Week Till Remixes Are Due

To all our Remix Participants: please remember that your Remixes are are due by February 7th, 11pm GMT. (When is that for me?)

If you don't think you can make it for whatever reason please hit the default button on AO3 before the deadline comes around or if you can't finish your entry by the deadline but think you'll be able to finish with a few days extra, please contact your mods at cap.im.events@gmail.com, send in your unfinished draft and ask for an extension.

Remember, you only have to write one remix story of at least 1000 words. See our notes on putting stories into the "Captain America/Iron Man Remix 2016" collection if you are finished, but don't know how to go about it.

Let us know if there are any other problems.

When posting the remix stories, should we also select the "This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work" option and link to the original work there? Or would that prematurely reveal to the original's author which fic of theirs was remixed?

As taking part in last year's remix taught me it does not prematurely reveal it. The connection will only be established upon reveal of the story. So you can use this option without risk of spoiling anyone and as the AO§ is set up that way, marking your Remix as Remix and pointing to the remixed story is appreciated. :)
