I think what first appealed to me was how INTENSE they had to be to get to that level of violence and resentment so yes, I WAS A GONER.

THANKS A LOT!!! I struggled a little with that fic because I was worried about how I was going to depict Steve, then I remembered he's CANONICALLY really petty and I just wrote whatever I wanted. Good luck with your essay /o/!!!

Right? "You don't get that mad unless you love someone in the first place" and all. And then it got better with Hickmanvengers XD Actually "fuck the world, Tony hurt me" is also a fave of mine.

I love Hickmanvengers so much, which is funny considering my friends can't seriously get into S/T because of him (the mindwipe and the following fallout it's just TOO MUCH for them), so I came to this friending meme thinking "GOD, I just want some people to talk about stovetunas, sniff."

DOES NOT COMPUTE. How can you not ship stevetony in Hickmanvengers?! I mean, that's basically canon, ffs! AND THE TONY FEELS AND THE STEVE FEELS AND THEY LOVED EACH OTHER SO MUCH AND ONLY HURT EACH OTHER MORE FOR IT

I think people who don't like Hickmanvengers flavored S/T (HAH) stay away from it because of the PAIN? But I mean, I started shipping them because of 616 CW so I think I just roll in it. Not everyone can stand that level of angst, ONLY THE STRONG ONES.
