I've always wanted someone to write an epic 616/TWD crossover and just pile on the angst. It would be so beautiful!

Double Time is my desert island fic. 616 Tony suffers so much in it and when contrasted against the relative happiness of Noir Tony it becomes the perfect blend of bittersweet. I live for bittersweet.

I've seen a few Avengers AUs that take place in TWD universe kind of like a fusion, but I don't think I've seen any where the characters from both interact, I think that would be hella rad.

Also, if you like multiverse fic with 616 Tony suffering, you should read Catch Me Through The Looking Glass by Ylixia. MCU Steve (who's in a relationship with Tony) meets 616 Steve during the incursions after he remembers Tony's mind wipe, so it's definetley angsty lol

Thor and King Ezekiel would become BFFs on the spot if they met, I'm a 100% sure. Or seeing Rick's or Carol's pragmatism go against Steve's unerring beliefs in humanity and the Right Thing. Though my most intriguing thought is apocalypse happening while Tony has functional Extremis and for him the worst thing becomes the silence in his head. Internet connections breaking, satellite links disappearing and someday even the last radio frequencies vanish. Live updates on the total wipeout of humanity. (I wish I had enough of a grasp on 616 characterisation to write this stuff...)

That fic has been on my To-Read list for ages. I'm bumping it to the top of the queue haha

Thor and Ezekiel though I'm cracking up picturing that. Clint would go nuts over Shiva. I feel like Natasha and Carol would get along pretty well.

And omg Tony why would you do that to me like can you imagine how much he must've gone insane those first few months when they're on the run, once the electricity got cut and everything in his head was just dead silence for the first time in years?? He would still have the suit though I'm sure if he's storing it in his bones so he could probably still use that. It would be easier to fight walkers that way and keep from getting bit, I'm sure. Though my knowledge of extremis really comes from fanfiction, so I feel you on that one.

If you ever take a crack at writing that please let me know, I didn't know how much I needed it until right now lmao
