cap_ironman | Friday Fanwork Recs: Animals & First Dates

It’s Friday, which means rec time! Each week, we're offering you the chance to submit your favourite fics and other fanworks for our two themes. Self-recs are welcome and of course you can still make new recs once Friday has passed!

This week, theme #1 is ‘ANIMALS’ (suggested by itsallAvengers on imzy) -- Tony and Steve saving a kitten from a tree? Steve getting turned into a Corgi by accident? Tony and Steve getting into a heated cats vs dog argument?

Theme #2 is 'FIRST DATES' (suggested by Snoozingcat on imzy) -- Steve and Tony having been on a first date without either of them noticing? Tony trying to orchestrate the perfect first date? Steve and Tony have roughly fifty first dates because villains keep interrupting them?

But then Steve gets turned into a werewolf, and he finds his shapeshifting linked to his feelings about Tony, who’s had a terrible accident. If Steve never sees Tony again, will he be stuck in wolf form forever? A closely-canon compliant 616 Capwolf story.
Comment: This is an amazing Capwolf story, an AU of CA #401 that posits that Steve and Tony's meeting at that bar didn't lead to any apologies, and furthermore that after the Capwolf arc Steve is intermittently stuck in wolf form (and also terrible things have happened to Tony, but what else is new?). Naturally his reunion with Tony is as a wolf and it is AMAZING. Contains really great cameos by Hank McCoy and Rahne Sinclair, because of course it does.

This one could count for both themes this week! It's also full of lovely pining.
