Rec Week 2017: All New Monday

Together with the members of this community we celebrated a decade of Steve/Tony fandom and fanworks this year! We all have our fandom classics and the old favorites we reread all the time. But we are a fandom that is far from dead and new fanworks are created every day. On All-New Monday it is time to tell us about your new favorites - Steve/Tony fanworks that were posted during the last year. Anything that was posted any time after the end of the 2016 Reverse Big Bang (so since mid-June 2016) should be recced today!

Note: Please mark major warnings for your recs, and if you have time, let us know why you’re reccing it!

Cap-IM Sunday, July 16th: Rec all your favorite works created for one of the Cap-IM challenges
All-New Monday, July 17th: Works newly posted during the last year
Artful Tuesday, July 18th: A rec day highlighting Fanart specifically! Come and rec all the art.
Angsty Wednesday, July 19th: Bring on all the angst!
Fluffy Thursday: July 20th Rec our favourite warm fluff works
Fix-It Friday, July 21st: All fix-its, all day.
Kiss It Better Saturday: July 22nd: Hurt/Comfort of any kind

This year we have three ways to share recs:

1) comment on the day’s Dreamwidth or Livejournal post
2) Reply to the day’s tumblr post
3) Post to tumblr with the tags #capimrecweek
4) Tweet links to your rec posts @cap_ironman using the hashtag #capimrecweek

Have fun! And remember that you can go back and add more recs to the previous days if you missed out or thought of something new, even after a new day has rolled over. While we especially encourage works produced in the last year, old favourites are welcome as well on all of the other days! Just not on All New Monday.

Summary: Tony misses Steve very badly after the Accords. Some days he deals with it better than other days.
Comment: One of my favorite post-CA:CW fics. This fic is too much. Steve pines away like there's no tomorrow, which is exactly up my alley.

The People Who Would Keep Us on Our Knees by Sineala (616, Teen And Up Audiences)
Summary: Tony wakes from his coma and finds a very different world than the one he remembers. Steve's in charge now. And Steve has missed him.

The Right Thing by Sineala (616, Teen And Up Audiences)
Summary: Today is a very important anniversary for Steve and Tony, and the fact that Tony's currently comatose isn't going to stop Steve from celebrating it.

Comment: Sineala's Hydra!Cap fics are just great. I love the insight we get into his mind and it's beyond interesting to read about how transparent he is regarding his feelings for Tony.
