Rec Week 2017: Kiss It Better Saturday

On our final day of rec week we ask for all the stories where some hurt - physical or emotional occurs and comfort is offered. On Kiss It Better Saturday we are asking you for all your favorite Hurt/Comfort stories.

This year we have three ways to share recs:

Have fun! And remember that you can go back and add more recs to the previous days if you missed out or thought of something new, even after a new day has rolled over. While we especially encourage works produced in the last year, old favorites are welcome as well on all of the other days!

Northwest to Nowhere by Veldeia (MCU)
Summary: Steve and Tony are lost in the wilderness, with barely any gear but plenty of midges and a magnificent midnight sun—and only each other for company.
Comment: One of my favourite old-school style h/c fics in this fandom. Lovely characterization. The author has plenty other stories in this vein, all worth reading.

I wanted to fix this (but couldn't stop from tearing it down) by missbecky (MCU, with elements of 616)
Summary: A visit from a Reed Richards from a parallel world convinces Tony and Steve that they must do whatever they can to prevent their world from falling into Civil War. They can save the world…but at what cost to themselves?
Comment: This could have gone into Fix-Its except it's not really a fix it for CW, it's more like a "Break It In New And Creative Ways" XD But it's a great story and I think it qualifies on the Emotional Hurt-Comfort front.
