Friday Fanwork Recs: Best of 2017 & Noir

It’s Friday, which means rec time! Each week, we're offering you the chance to submit your favourite fics and other fanworks for our two themes. Self-recs are welcome and of course you can still make new recs once Friday has passed!

This week, theme #1 is ‘BEST OF 2017’ (suggested by lazywriter7 on imzy) -- The classics are classics for a reason, but what about the fresh new content that makes you want to hug your screen? What fics and art that you adored have been posted this year so far?

Theme #2 is 'NOIR' -- What's not to love about Marvel in a Noir setting? Adventuring gentleman Tony Stark hunting for treasures with clandestine meetings with Captain America inbetween? Beanpole Steve Rogers has no greater wish than accompany the great Tony Stark and draw art for Marvels Magazine?

Steve Rogers knew, knows, will know Tony Stark, the adventurer, the scientist, the futurist. And Tony Stark - well, he's not really fond of the idea of this Captain America fellow being assigned to tag along as he, Rhodey, Pepper, and Jarvis race to find a powerful relic before the Nazis do, but he just has to go with it. What he doesn't - and can't - realize is how deeply Cap is tied into his life in ways he can barely even understand.
Comment: Beautifully written, made me cry but had such a fantastic/ happy ending.
