Don't we all know this feeling of having too many ideas to write and no time to write them all? Is there this one headcanon that you really want to read but can't write it? Or that frustration when you actually do want to write but you can't come up with anything?

If you have prompts or headcanons that you want to provide for your fellow writers and/or artists, here's the time and place! Anything is welcome, just take note to attach appropriate warnings if applicable.

I guess today is an identity porn kind of day, because I have a few different ideas for this

(1) Tony for whatever reason creates elaborate fake identity, and happens to meet Steve while using it. All the juicy identity porn antics happen, Steve finds out who Tony really is. In the ensuing drama, Steve gets some of details about Tony's fake identity wrong. Tony acts all offended on behalf of his carefully crafted character and says, "It's like you didn't even know me!"

(2) When they defrost him, Steve forgot having ever been Captain America, in fact he only had vague memories of his childhood. He goes and lives a normal life, with no knowledge of his past as Cap. Tony keeps Iron Man a secret, and he's just known for being a playboy billionaire. Steve is shocked when said playboy billionaire shows an interest in him. (Whether Tony knows who Steve is, is optional)

(3) Steve keeps his identity a secret, with only a few people at SHIELD knowing. He gets de-serumed one battle, but manages to sneak off without any of the Avengers seeing. He goes to SHIELD, but he doesn't have much he can do but wait around for them to fix it, so he informs the Avengers of a leave of absence and goes about his daily life. Except he keeps running into Tony/Iron Man.

There can never be enough identity pron, so I approve of this and these are all interesting prompts. I like 3 especially!

ooooh! That's nice! I bet Tony would make his own sword and have custom gear in red and gold. Maybe Steve is a newcomer, sponsored by someone so he can afford the gear and competition fees. Or something like that.

1) AA Stony end up in a backlash from one of Reed's gadgets that accidentally sends them to RDJ's Downeytown trailer while Robert is having a lunch break with Chris Evans.

2) Steve, because of past ice trauma, is a hugger at night. So when Steve and Tony have to share a bed in Clint's barn, Tony ends up being a human teddy bear

I'd been toying with this idea for ages and never ended up really writing it lol.

When you wish upon a star, it's actually a satellite, and your wish has been recorded & cataloged. An agent is now assigned to your case.

Here is the idea, as originally transcribed in my notes:

Agent Rogers, who through some stupid fluke of bureaucratic bullshit is assigned to the case of Tony Stark
Who it turns out is no longer a small child and that wish is decades old
But he still has to fulfill his mission because *handwaves* otherwise the government takes him out or something
Or his own sense of honor or whatever
And Tony's wish is something like I dunno to be happy or something cuz it was particularly bad one night at home
Or for things to get better
Or something else those are terrible wishes

This is beautiful! Actually when I read the quote I was thinking satellite -> extremis -> Tony granting wishes, but Steve granting an old wish from kid Tony would be awesome! Maybe the wish is something Captain America related? Like I wish Captain America would be my friend, or I wish he'd save me from bullies...something like that.

"I wish Captain America would be my friend" is a gr8 one :D :D there's potential in there for some identity porn shenanigans too and honestly I am down for that.

(...tbh I think I was thinking of some wish in response to stuff that happened at home.....okay I mean howard lmao)

I wonder how that would work out, with Steve being both Captain America and Agent Rogers. Maybe he was Cap as a living human but then became this wish agent thing a la Little Mermaid? Or maybe by the magic of granting wishes he gets retconned as Cap and then him going into the world is the defrosting thing and he's living a double life as Cap and as an agent of whatever the wish thing was...although I was kind of thinking it was AU SHIELD so how does that work out... (But other ppl don't have to write it like that, my aborted attempts at beginnings have Fury calling Steve to give him this new assignment, clearing out some sort of backlog? or it's from some godforsaken overflowing storage room and they still having to honor the wishes that are still valid? But yeah there's a lot of possibilities XD and I guess I'm throwing it out there now)

I think I'm thinking more like...an urban fantasy type dealio than necessarily guardian angels? Something like...that Tooth Fairy movie I haven't actually watched and more know about incidentally? Or like those shinigami mangas XD which also provides a framework for Steve both being an Agent and also Captain America (but where would SHIELD fit in, and in which world? oooh the possibilities!) (...which actually I was thinking of Undertaker Riddle and not Bleach, but kind of a similar idea, if that's a more familiar referential for you?). The wish agents I'm envisioning aren't solely assigned to a single person, they're assigned to them for the duration of a case, which to my mind makes them less of a guardian angel type figure. But originally I also wasn't thinking that they'd be recruited from human people, I was sort of imagining that SHIELD was the wish agency and Steve was an agent, but this assignment requires he like, go mingle with the people folks lol. (Anyway yeah LOTS of room for interpretation and spinning off different iteratins.) And some wishes don't require they personally intercede - maybe it's even RARE that an agent would have to personally intercede, Tony's is just a special special case :)

Oh, I love the idea that agents don't usually intercede in a case unless it's necessary - maybe if his wish is to be happy, the reason Steve has to intercede is because they're not sure what would make him happy? And depending on when Steve and Tony meet, there's also Howard...

Oh I love this! Though, the idea of Tony Stark's Wish for Happiness being a decades-old cold case both breaks my heart and makes absolute sense ;_________;.

Do you envision Normal!AU or does Tony still become Iron Man?

I am totally all about that "Tony is Iron Man" life.

The most recent iteration of this idea I've been thinking abt is somehow Steve is Cap. Maybe he was Cap before he went down in the ice and then like...a classic Little Mermaid scenario, he gets recruited, except instead of spirits of the air it's like...wish agents. Maybe there's magic inherent in wish-granting, and it like. creates the scenario where Steve is Cap as he's trying to get close to Tony to try to figure out the story behind the wish/context of it so that the "spirit" of the wish is granted (not like a paranormal spirit, but like letter-of-the-law, spirit-of-the-law, that kind of spirit).

But also I love identity porn so yes I want there to be Avengers. Maybe Tony's got his own identity porn thing going on, and Iron Man's another red herring for Steve.
