Two things I'd Love to See
These came about from recent discussion I've had, and I was curious what the rest of you thought........or if anyone was interested in writing them. "g"
The other idea I had was a Tony/Past Steve fic. This current situation is so full of angst that Tony deserves a hug. How do you think a meet up between them is going to go? And how do you want it to go?

So I've recently seen a few different Jarvis the AI fics, and this made me think of the possibility of Tony designing a Steve AI. I can picture him doing it, either before he met Steve, or after Steve's death. Just the thought of him designing this AI so he could have someone to talk to. And then what if Steve found out, what would his reaction be?

All he cared about was the "next mission" which was eliminate his weapons that were shipped without his permission.
However, if you go for a more comics-verse style, I say it would be during the Civil War. Voice and all, really. Someone to talk to that is Steve but not. Someone he can actually "confess" his reasonings to help him remain sane (relatively).
Damn. Now I want to write the first idea.

What if Tony DID make a Steve AI, but what happens if something went wrong? For instance, what if it was programmed to be so like Steve, that it cared for Tony, too? What if that caring went a little overboard, not unlike a certain abusive boyfriend sentient armor? After all, this AI has the ability to even download itself into Tony's armor, and can do all sorts of things to even the house security system. XD

On the other hand, there could be, again, different ways of looking at it. Maybe there is also a Jarvis AI, maybe, only it DOESN'T flip out, and perhaps manages to sustain itself against the other AI, and help save the day!
OR, a Steve AI is created, only to be secretly replaced by another AI, perhaps the sentient armor itself, which had somehow saved a copy of itself. But the Steve AI sustains itself long enough in order to help fight off the armor AI, perhaps destroying itself in the process, but there is always REAL Steve for cuddles in the end.
Of course, I am perhaps being a bit too mean to the armor... As crazy and flipped out as it was, it DID sacrifice itself for Tony. It was simply confused, and had no real was on understanding the the "emotions" it was experiencing. And it's only thread of conscience was Tony="good, always do what's best for Tony" and everyone else="bad, I know what's best for Tony, I will make sure he is never hurt again (whether he likes it or not)".
And you can't say Tony doesn't take steps to make sure the crap DOESN'T happen to him (again and again), but it seems like every precaution he take is undermined at every turn, and the error it followed by, "crap, I didn't think about that one..."

Avengers/Invaders?
I had the idea that someone would attack the invaders, Tony rushes in to save Steve even though it´s not his Steve, fights with passion, bravery, yadda yadda, takes a shot meant for Cap, half the helmet breaks off and reveals Tony´s face and before he loses conciousness, he mutters "It IS you" and is gone.
Steve is utterly confused and decides to rescue the stranger who seems to know him and has just risked his life from the evil villain who is still out there and they go into hiding first.
And then I want them to meet Fury, for some reason
o.o....I know I´m weird...also it´s nearly 4am

What if Tony was severely depressed after Steve's death? Thus causing a sort of mental chemical imbalance. The Extremis notices this and decides to correct it by finding a way to make Tony happy, in this case, it creates a sort of hallucination of Steve that's not only like Steve, but is also more flirtatious/seductive.
Tony is smart enough to figure out that this Steve is a hallucination. However, the issue isn't actually figuring out how to stop the Extremis from doing this, it's if Tony 'wants' the Extremis to stop.

"Pepper's been watching that 'celebrity gossip' garbage again."
Tony paused; hands hovering over what to the casual observer would appear to be a mess of wires and circuits, but to Anthony Stark, a.k.a. The Head of Stark Industries, a.k.a., Iron Man, a.k.a., Absolute Genius, was... well, a mess of wires and circuits- yes, but one that held a potential for greatness.
"Can you believe that?" he asked aloud, scoffing at the idea himself and shaking his head before he traded the soldering iron for a pair of wire-cutters.
"I mean, she lives the gossip, the real gossip. The stuff that's not made up and shoved on the television just to give the public what they want." His face twisted in a mix of disdain and annoyance as he poked somewhat aimlessly at the electronic disaster in front of him and then risked a glance across the table.
Oh yes, he should have expected that.
"And no," he scowled at the amused expression he'd found looking back at him, "this is not me being bitter about the whole 'me-lying-about-being-Iron-Man' fiasco."
His response was met with a wide smile, a shrug, and a sceptical rise of a single blond eyebrow that Tony knew all to well meant his android would -had he given it the ability to speak- just have shot him back some sort of sharp, sarcastic retort.
"You know," he muttered, eyes narrowing suspiciously as he pointed the end of wire-cutters accusingly in 'S.T.V.''s direction, "sometimes I think you do that just to make me believe you've said something smart," and then turned his attention back to his... ugh, whatever on the table, in an attempt to ignoring the amusement practically radiating from 'S.T.V.' at that point.

(Notes thus far: Movie-verse, because it will take me a while to track down everything I can get my greedy paws on.
S.T.V. = prononced 'S''tee''vee'. Or Stevie obviously enough. It’s only a working name at the moment. )
This is only the beginning, and it's your fault.
Also... greetings.
