Donate-a-Prompt (February)

Don't we all know this feeling of having too many ideas to write and no time to write them all? Is there this one headcanon that you really want to read but can't write it? Or that frustration when you actually do want to write but you can't come up with anything?
If you have prompts or headcanons that you want to provide for your fellow writers and/or artists, here's the time and place! Anything is welcome, just take note to attach appropriate warnings if applicable.
This post will run all month, so be sure to come back and submit and discuss prompts over the coming weeks! To keep track of all new comments in this post, click the bell at the top of this post.
If you need resources:
- All of the previous Imzy prompts have been archived here
- Here's a handy prompt generator
- There's a sizable amount of AU ideas on
neurotoxia's Tumblr

Let us know if you have another great resource for prompts not listed here. In case you create something based on these prompts, be sure to link to them here so we can all read them! Or maybe post a short fill directly in the comments!
Prompt
(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 11:25 am (UTC)(link)Anyway:
There are a fair few (really good) fic out there where all the different Tony's or Steve's from the various Marvel universes end up in one space and hijinks ensue.
There are also a reasonable number of stories in which Howard Stark magically appears, often so he can show his true, unpleasant colours and get punched on the nose.
So let's combine those ideas.
Somehow (magic, science, Asgardians) All The Howards show up: standard Terrible Father 616 Howard, I-don't-know-much-about-him-but-I'll-bet-he-was-Worse Ultimate Howard, fighting-off-Zemo Noir Howard, Actual Decent Parent Armoured Adventures Howard, and the MCU's cold, disinterested, driven guy who sent his son away so he could send an emotional message to that same son (!) (also, let us not forget, the recipient of Agent Carter's "I know you loved him" speech.
What happens when all of these Howards show up in the middle of breakfast, or at the end of a fight?
How do our heroes react?
Does Cap punch anyone on the nose?
Does Tony run away to stand (probably not naked) crying in the rain?
And what the hell is going on?
Prompt: Cap was never famous
(Anonymous) 2018-02-06 11:37 am (UTC)(link)It turns out that Captain America was *not* too important to the war effort to get a blue ticket.
After being caught out after a night's indiscretion, Private Steve Rogers was thrown emphatically *out* of the army.
But, Cap being Cap he went ahead and did everything that canon Cap achieved anyway, just without the costume, the fanfare and the subsequent merchandise.
Decades later, the Avengers pull a man out of an ice floe - but who is he?
As Mr Rogers slowly comes to terms with a new world, Tony Stark is determined to learn just who this somewhat-secretive man is -and how on Earth he survived-.
Piecing the truth together from history books, odd remarks and the strange assortment of "old friends" who come visiting the ice-man (Nick Fury, Arnie Roth and presumably others) he discovers a hero the world never knew.
But is there a place in this strange new world for a man so lost and out of time?
And could such a man ever love someone like Tony?

Prompt: (616) The code to waking up Tony from his coma pod is the same one Steve had to open up Tony's armor in Execute Program.
(I feel like this could range from HydraCap noncon to fluff about Steve figuring out how much Tony trusts him and then wakes him up.)

How many times can one write waking Tony up from his coma?

Tony notices a strange wolf watching him from the edge of town. Steve was secretly a werewolf, so his "death" only slowed him down. He's been stuck in wolf form, healing, but he wants to see Tony again.

(Yes. Yes, it is. But you know it could be cute.)
Prompt : it wasn't worth it...
Re: Prompt : it wasn't worth it...
The Homecoming if the Ancient Mariner
But to man who has been lost alone in an icy sea for longer than hope can live, a lighthouse means "home."
(Knowing the Hamilton! the Musical references that continually pop up in canon, and the driving force behind lighthouses, you could probably work a few references to Ten Dollar Founding Father and please point out fluffy fics where Steve loves musicals and doesn't [or does] realize the stereotype associated with them in modern day. Bonus points if Steve catches Tony singing to himself and sweeps him into a duet. Ahem. What do you mean, have I gotten the adult ADHD diagnosis yet?)
EDITED for typos.
Avengers Academy Valentine's Day
It's Valentine's Day at the Academy and Tony gives homemade chocolates to all of his classmates...except Steve. Steve tries not to seem visibly hurt by it, but is probably sulking in his room as his friends try to console him with "there there" and "don't worry, Steve, the chocolates he made are kinda gross anyway." Then it turns out Tony was too embarrassed by his chocolates to give any to Steve, and eventually Steve and Tony talk things out and get together!
