Captain America/Iron Man Remix 2018: Creator Guessing and Remix Discussion

The 2018 Cap-Iron Man Remix Exchange and Relay reveals have started!
Remix Collections for easy browsing
You can view all the works on AO3 as they are revealed in
The Remix Exchange Collection
The Relay Remix Collection and
The Remix Madness Collection, which is still open to sign-ups and entries at the moment when reveals for the other two start and will reveal its works last.
Creator reveals will take place on Saturday, March 3rd and until then all creators are still a secret!
Remix Discussion and Guessing
In the meantime, we invite you to guess the creators and/or the relay remixing order, rec any of the works that you read and loved, and discuss remix meta and questions about remixing right here in this post! Tell us about your favorite remixes and what you think were the perfect remix ideas. What surprised you in the remixes you saw? And what would you like to try if you get the chance to remix again?
Comments will be public, so feel free to discuss with each other. Just remember not to reveal what you made until creator reveals on the 3rd! After that, you’re welcome to share all the details about your work for this year’s remix here too.

The Body Problem (In Articulo Morits Remix) must be navaan's. My navaan detector is tingling so hard.
I do have one other guess but I'll see about it closer to reveals time :P

Tony shows up on Steve's doorstep with a file folder
616? Clean writing? Smart, descriptive, evocative story? Sad as all hell? I vote Kiyaar. That’s my guess.

I have to say my first reaction was "I have no idea who wrote this". But then I told myself "come on, laire, there are 16 participants and you got a 616/Ult crossover, that's not exactly popular, go look at that list".
So I did and I compiled a list of all potential 616/Ult perpetrators, and then I crossed off those who I was pretty sure weren't responsible. That left me with Woad and MsErmestH. I admit, I couldn't guess between them on writing alone, so I investigated further and went to look at their respective work pages to compare the tagging style.
Verdict: MsErmestH is guilty of attacking my feels! They use "Multiverse Shenanigans" and "Event Aftermath" format.
*cough* I might be approaching this too seriously.
On the relay side of things, I'm pretty sure Navaan wrote "A Sense of Calm (The Before the Storm Remix)" (complicated relationships) and Mucca wrote "The Voice of Time Cries to Man: Advance! (A Remix Foreshadowed)" (your titles are kinda obviously you! Unless that's not actually you and then I'll be surprised).

But I will say that, as an uninspired tagger, one of my favorite parts of remix is getting to steal all the applicable tags from the original!

(Anonymous) 2018-03-01 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)i think The Illusion Cannot be Sustained was written by ironlawyer.
and i also suspect that Aftermath (The Way to the Truth Remix) might have been written by a_salty_alto. i could swear i recognise that writing style.

(I will be very excited to find out who the author is because I loved it.)

One suggestion I have is to allow more safe works. I have 160 Steve/Tony fics posted to AO3 right now, and I really feel like one safe work isn't enough for me (even putting aside the works I might be planning some continuation for, I do have some works that are, well, personal). I wasn't sure about signing up because of that worry. I took part in Remix Revival Madness last year and they just didn't have a limit on the number of safe works, which was pretty cool.
More personally, thanks for holding my hand throughout the event, navaan!!! I would've died without you.
