Best of Steve/Tony (2008-2018) Nominations
In the 10 years cap_ironman has been active, we've witnessed many moments between Steve and Tony across all of Marvel's canons, reacting to them as they were published and aired — Steve and Tony making up and breaking up in Marvel 616, working as friends then fighting as enemies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, their separation and reunion in Avengers Assemble, and more.
Last year, the fandom celebrated 10 Years of Steve/Tony since The Confession. This year, to commemorate our community's anniversary, and as a prelude to updating our Slashy Moments list, we'd like to invite everyone to tell us their favorite Steve/Tony moment from the past 10 years, then vote on your favorites in each canon!
Nominations are open now, from February 19 to February 26.
The voting period will run from March 1 to March 7.
You may nominate any of your favorite Steve/Tony moments: interactions they've had together, either of them thinking of or discussing the other, or any moment that alludes to their relationship. This means your nomination does not have to include both Steve and Tony (and could be another character altogether discussing their relationship), but must pertain to Steve/Tony.
Your nominations can be as specific as a single line (example: "I will miss you, Tony." — Age of Ultron), or as broad as an entire comic issue (example: Steve and Tony's all-day hangout in Marvel Adventures: Avengers #27.)!
While you may submit as many nominations as you'd like, we encourage you to submit only one moment per universe. This means you can nominate one moment in Marvel-616, one for Marvel 1872, one for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, one for Contest of Champions, and so on. Feel free to nominate scenes for as few or as many universes as you'd like!
As this is a celebration of the past 10 years in this community's history: you may only nominate moments that have occured within the past decade (from February 19, 2008 to now). That means early 616 canon, Civil War, and certain moments from early Ultimates and Marvel Adventures canon cannot be nominated.
For reference, the following issues in Marvel-616, Ultimates, and Marvel Adventures were published on February 20, 2008. Any Steve/Tony moments included in these issues or after will be qualified for nominations!
