Spoiler Policy for Avengers: Infinity War

Short version:

Please put all Avengers: Infinity War spoilers behinds a cut until May 27th, so everyone had a fair chance to see it spoiler free.

Long version:

After all the trailers we are finally getting to see Avengers: Infinity War in a few hours - but as always not everyone has the chance to see the movie right away and release dates and screening times in countries might differ, so please keep in mind that while the Internet is going to explode with spoilers everyone should have a fair chance to see the movie unspoiled.

For this comm, we ask that posters take responsibility for cutting spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War until May 27th: please put all spoilers behind a cut with a warning so people know there are spoilers ahead or use blacked out text on any spoilers in summaries, discussion, etc. If you're posting a fanwork that contains spoilers for Infinity War then please clearly indicate this somewhere in your header or description. If you're commenting in a post that does not indicate spoilers, then please also black out your comments as appropriate; if the whole post is clearly marked as containing spoilers, however, then the comments are fair game.

We are going to put up a discussion post this week where everyone who has already seen the movie can jump into spoilery discussions to their heart's content. So stay tuned and bring your thoughts there!

After May 27th, putting spoilers behind cuts is no longer mandatory, but do please consider that other community members may still not have seen the movie and act accordingly. This community is generally nice about spoilers, so let’s keep up the courteous behavior and not spoil(er) anyone’s fun.
