2018 Community Gifts Prompt List is Now Available!
Thank you all for your submissions! We've compiled all the collected Community Gifts prompts, and now it's time to create! Anyone is welcome to choose a prompt from the list assembled below and create a gift for it, whether or not you're signed up for the main Holiday Exchange. Works created for these prompts, if submitted to the 2018 Holiday Exchange collection by the end of 2018 will be revealed and promoted as part of the exchange collection.

All of the Community Gift prompts have been compiled into three lists: all the prompts, only SFW (safe for work) prompts, or only NSFW (not safe for work) prompts. The prompts have been divided that way for browsing purposes, but you do not need to follow prompts exactly — 'NSFW' prompts can have non-explicit fills, and 'SFW' prompts can have NSFW fills. (As you're browsing through the list, please also keep in mind that the only warning required for prompts was 'NSFW,' and potential warnings may not have been labeled within the prompt.)
HOW TO JOIN
No sign-up or claiming is required to participate! To join, all you have to do is:
1. Pick a prompt from the Prompt List (SFW Prompts / NSFW Prompts)
2. Create a fill and make sure they abide by the Community Gifts Rules
3. Submit your work to the AO3 Collection by the end of 2018 and gift it to the Cap Iron Man Community
4. Wait for your work to be shared during the reveal period! (And remember to keep your identity a secret until creator reveals.)

Instructions on how to submit your gift can be found in our AO3 Guide (under Posting to a Collection and Gifting a Work). If you're new to Community Gifts, image instructions from last year can be found here (just check that you're posting to the 2018 collection instead)!
When you're posting your gift, make sure that your work is in the Cap_Ironman_Holiday_Exchange_2018 Collection and gifted to Cap Iron Man Community.
GIFT RULES
- Gifts should be new and created solely for the 2018 Cap-Ironman Community Gifts, and not for any other fandom event.
- Works created for the Community Gifts are gifts for the community and entire fandom, and not to any individual.
- Gifts can be fics, art, poetry, music, fanvids, or any other type of fanwork, and there are no minimum work requirements, aside from being complete, stand-alone works.
- If you are a participant in the Exchange, we ask that you complete your Exchange gift before creating a Community Gift.
- All works must follow the Event Work Requirements detailed in the General Event Policies.
- Community Gifts must remain anonymous until creator reveals.
- Please list the prompt in the summary or author's note (either at the beginning or end of your work, in case of spoilers).
