Other Social Media: Nope
Timezone: US East coast
What's in your journal: Not much atm. I'm hoping to change that.
What rating is your journal: Let's be real, probably PG. Maybe PG-13 for the occasional cuss word.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: BPAL & other indie perfumes, historical fiction, aviation history, my cats
What you do in fandom (read/write/art/squee etc): Read, mostly. Write occasionally.
How long you've been in the Marvel fandom: Since 2007
Favorite Steve/Tony moment: I am contractually obligated to say "IT WASN'T WORTH IT." because reading that issue prompted me and my wife to propose to each other. But really, I think I like the dramatic mouth-to-mouth in Avengers v3: Red Zone best, with the "Steve bets Tony that he can't use technology for a whole episode" episode of Avengers Assemble coming in a close second for peak passive-aggressive-snark!Steve ("Is it coal power, or is it *dramatic pause* magic?").
Favorite Steve/Tony universe: 616
Other fandoms/ships you’re into: Hank/Jan, Carol/Wanda, Gambit/Rogue, Yondu/Kraglin, Adorabull, f!Inquisitor/Cullen, SoleSurvivor/Hancock, McHanzo, Reaper76, Corvo/Daud, Corvo/Outsider, Yang Xiao Long/Blake Belladonna, Jaime Lannister/Brienne of Tarth, Megatron/Starscream, and numerous classic slash pairings (K/S, Holmes/Watson, etc.)
Exciting fandom plans/What are you working on next? Someday my wife and I will actually finish that Steve/Tony WWII AU that has like four unposted chapters languishing in google docs.

That sounds amazing. I never knew how much I loved WWII setting before getting into Steve/Tony, but here I am and CURIOUS.

WWII was actually one of my fannish interests long before I discovered comics - my first major original fic project I wrote as a 13-year-old was a weird fantasy/historical fiction mash-up about my Mary Sue discovering that she was an unwanted fairy changeling (like, the one the fairies leave behind) and then joining the WAAF where she used her second sight ability to be The Very Best Ever at reading radar screens.

That's a cool set up for a story. My interests and AU in teenage years went more to the 18th century or Renaissance settings. WWII was only something that came to the front of my historical interests as an adult (which I suppose considering how often it's brought up in school here isn't surprising.) Writing fic has certainly given me more of a fannish interest in it.

That's amazing!
Also hey, I'm into adoribull too! (...the bad ending, mm.)

Expensively :p The Yule release has an entire line up of Gingerbread scents, and I have to narrow my purchase down to one! (I doubt any will be the holy grail of wonderful that was Gingerbread, Vetiver & Black Clove or the Chocolate Espresso Gingerbread bath oil, but I have high hopes).

Reaper76 is like the Professor X/Magneto of Overwatch, except that Gabe is an even bigger drama queen than both Charles & Erik put together. Possibly almost as big a drama queen as Doom (but with better taste in masks). Meanwhile, Jack is kind of like a dark, alternate future version of Steve, in the kind of way where they would probably hate one another if they met.

I love it when people find each other through fandom or get together/get married because of it. I love that Red Zone moment so much too.
And yay, Jaime/Brienne! I only watch the show and read the first book, but they're sooooooo good.<3
THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME THAT I HAVE TO READ THE WWII AU BECAUSE I KEEP FORGETTING TO.
