It's so true. It's like, "Ugh my soul! ...more please!" Civil War is why I'm so annoyed by their relationship in MCU. Like, we're supposed to believe that these two people care enough about each other to make Civil War anything other than a weirdly dramatic political debate? Where in MCU canon have we had any bonding? Minor, maybe, but much deeper relationships with other Avengers on both sides. The depth of emotion in comics!Civil War versus MCU!Civil War is split by a divide that would impress the Grand Canyon. I've always wanted to go back to Avengers and just sort of rewrite it all -- platonically even -- just for MCU!Civil War to make sense. They try so hard to make it look like this emotional thing between Cap and Tony, and it just isn't!

*cough* Obviously I have strong feelings.
