Well, it was worth a shot (she's the Tolkien Scholar on staff), and no worries. Congrats on successfully crawling out the far side of graduate school!! I hear these periodic horror stories, and it's nice to know that occasionally there are survivors ^_~

I've found that, when it comes to these kinds of things, the more the merrier, so I will probably ping you on the topic at some point (one of my last 4 undergrad classes is "Studies in Narrative - The Graphic Novel", and I'm hoping to do my paper on Something Marvel).
