cap_ironman | 2020 Cap-Iron Man Remix Relay Sign-up Extension

We know that this is a busy time for everyone both IRL and fandom-wise, with fandom events and and brick-space commitments to attend to.

That's why we're extending the Cap-IM Remix Relay sign-up period until January 4!

We hope that this will give everyone a chance to sign up and take part, and to spread the word about this exciting challenge.

THE CHALLENGE:
As a reminder, the Cap-IM Relay Remix works like this: mods use someone's submitted fanwork as the start of a relay chain, sending it off to the first remixer in a chain of participants. This participant creates a remix and sends it back to the mods, who send it on to the next person in the chain, and so on. At the end, the person who created the starting work will get to do the final remix, completing the chain. Participants stay anonymous throughout the event, and when the remixes are first revealed, everyone has a chance to guess in which order the chain was created.

Speed is of the essence for this challenge - participants have a maximum of one week to get their remix back to the mods, and the sooner they do so, the better.

CALLING ALL ARTISTS:
We have had quite a bit of interest in our alternating Art/Fic Chain, but require more artists in order to make this happen this year. Artists, if you're interested, please don't hesitate to sign up to the relay! You can see an example of the Art/Fic chain here.

THE EVENT GUIDELINES:
Part of the annual Cap-Iron Man Remix Event, Remix Relay will run until February 22. To join, read through all of the information on our Remix Relay information post, then send us an email at cap.im.events@gmail.com with the subject line “2020 Remix Relay Sign-Up” and all the necessary information.

If you’d like to provide a starting work for the Relay chains, please send us the finished work (art or fic!) along with your sign-up. Please be aware that if your work is accepted as the starting work, you must create the final remix and must be available in mid-February to do so.
