AN: Italics indicate thoughts. Constructive criticism welcome. The third in my Transmogrification-verse. It's now a series. I have it mostly planned out, so odds are I'll finish it with a nice conclusion. No beta for this chapter, story, thing.
Disclaimer: They don't belong to me and I'm not making any money off of them, Marvel is. If they belonged to me, well...

Steve wasn't sure how he was supposed to act. Kittens are, as a general rule, adorable and rather quiet fragile looking, and he doubted that Tony would appreciate being though of as either. Unfortunately these qualities, added to the fact that the kitten was Tony, made him feel extremely protective, another thing that would annoy Tony to no end. Nevertheless Captain America felt that he had to keep the kitten safe at all costs, glaring at anyone who tried to pet Tony, trying to save some of his dignity. He's probably embarrassed to no end by his current form. Cap thought to himself. So he decided to take it upon himself to make sure none of his teammates tried anything funny with the kitty.
Tony wasn't sure how to take Steve's behaviour. It was funny to see him glare at Spider-Man anytime he tried to come near, and the way Cap cut off Luke anytime he tried to comment on Tony's looks was equally amusing. At the same time we was annoyed with Steve. He's acting like I'm made of glass! I'm not completely helpless, I have claws! I should try using them next time Peter tries to pet me, maybe then Steve will stop being so over protective.
Unfortunately for Tony, Captain America wouldn't let anyone close enough for him to try his scratching plan.

Tony could still use Extremis in the last chapter, so he could use his armor to...do things.

Tony being indignant because he has claws, damnit! made me giggle. You show them that you're a big, bad kitty, Tony.
