cap_ironman | Mod Announcement

The cap-ironman community thrives because of all of you — Steve/Tony fans and fan creators from around the globe. People in more and more places around the world need to stay home or are affected by the current pandemic in more personal ways.

Our thoughts are with you all — we hope that you and your families are all well, and you're well-stocked in fantastic Stony content to enjoy as you go into self-isolation (check out our event masterposts if you are in need of more!). It's a hectic time, and we understand that some of you will be refocusing on RL, while some of you will be seeking to escape it for a bit.

Please take care of yourselves, whether that means taking a break from fandom, catching up on those fics and TV series you've been meaning to get to, unplugging for a while, sleeping, or a combination. Don't feel guilty for doing what you need to do. Don't worry, the community will keep chugging along either way, and we'll still be here with events and new fanworks when you're ready to come back!

RBB participants, it's almost the halfway mark, so we'll be checking in this weekend with you all. At this stage, the RBB schedule remains the same, but we encourage you to reach out to us at any time if you think you're running into trouble.

If you have some extra time on your hands and you're looking for a distraction, don't forget about our ongoing cap-im events! Currently, we have STONY Bingo 2020 Round 1 Open Here; STONY Comment Bingo Round 3, 2019 Open Here; and SteveTony Kink Meme Round 24 Open Here.

Anyone who wants to promote a distracting Stony event or host a mini-challenge via the cap-ironman community space, just let us know!

Keep in mind that your mods are human too, and we have various things happening in our lives and behind the scenes. It may take a bit longer for us to respond in the upcoming weeks. Thanks for being patient with us!

If you have questions relating to the community or our fests that are specific to your situation, or aren't relevant to the entire comm, please ask them off Anon. We know it's tempting, but it's much easier for mods to answer and follow up if you send through an email to cap.im.events@gmail.com, comment on a Dreamwidth post, send us a Tumblr IM, or send a non-anon Tumblr ask so that we can answer privately.

Wherever you are, stay safe. Keep that 2-metre distance IRL, but remember to stay close to your support network online!
